In July 2018, the Commonwealth Government rolled out their Jobs for Families Package. A component of this, the Child Care Subsidy, can make early learning more affordable for eligible families. As part of the enrolment process, and prior to commencement at Puss in Boots Early Childhood Learning Centre, each family must ensure that they have a current Child Care Subsidy Assessment Notice. This includes confirming your child’s enrolment at Puss in Boots.
Please use our Child Care Subsidy Calculator to estimate your entitlement.
Parents can complete their Child Care Subsidy Assessment and apply for Child Care Subsidy using their Centrelink Online Account (MyGov).
The Childcare Subsidy Assessment is a 4-step process:
1. Family Income Assessment
2. Activity Test
3. Child Schooling Details
4. Confirm Enrolment
For families who attend the child care centre five (5) days a week, 10 hour sessions per day, per week will be offered so they fall within 100 hours of subsidy per fortnight.
To be eligible for the sessions your child can attend between the hours of 7.30am to 5.30pm each day.
Attendance outside of these hours is not eligible for the Child Care Subsidy.
Puss in Boots has a two (2) day minimum enrolment policy. For more information please refer to the Morningside Child Care Centre Fee Policy
